Describe the best meal you ever ate (comfort food, junk food, holiday meal, etc,.).

What was it? Why was it so great?!

  1. The best meal I've ever ate is 2 bowls of Lanzhou Noodles in SanDiego Chinatown. I've always liked noodles and having not eaten Chinese noodles in a while, these tasted euphoric. The optimal taste of the soup was not too pungent and not too mild while the noodles were springy but not sticky.

  3. The best meal I ever ate was at my sister's graduation party. It was some delicious Indian food that my mom had made. My sister and I both loved and it and the spices were just right. It was even better because my whole family was sitting around the table enjoying the delicious meal!

  4. My mom made crab-cakes over Christmas as an appetizer. It was really good because I love crab.

  5. The best meal I had ever eaten was after I had gotten out of a really hard exam, I went home (my mom and my sister were out visiting a college) and I made microwave Kraft Mac and Cheese. I sounds stupid as my favorite meal, but it was truly incredible after how emotionally worn out I was from stressing over the exam. Gotta love powdered cheese on artificial noodles.

  6. The best meal I ever ate was Alfredo Noodles w/ Chicken. I'm not sure exactly why the chicken alfredo was so good, probably because of all of the cheese, but I really enjoyed it so I have it at least a couple of times every month.

The best meal I ever ate was at a French restaurant in Hong Kong called Winebeast. I went there with my family after one of my mom's coworkers recommended it to us. The meal was incredibly fresh and well balanced, a pork dish covered in cooked vegetables. While that may normally sound like a turn off for some, the vegetables were a highlight of the meal that contributed greatly to the experience as a whole.

  8. The best meal I've ever had was at the Cheesecake Factory, for my 13th birthday. The waiters came and delivered chocolate bread to our table, which I never had before. For my entree, I had three cheese pasta which tastes better than it seemed. When we were about done, we asked for banana cheesecake. It was creamy, and it was the best cheesecake I have ever had.

  9. The best meal I ever ate consisted of a steak paired with a churrasco sauce, a vegetable medley and sautéed potatoes in a variety of delicious condiments. For desert, the restaurant provided fried plantains in some sort of delicious sweet glaze, made from ingredients I still do not know. I got to eat this meal in another country during my summer vacation.

  11. I’m sitting in the third booth on the left. The walls are lined with vintage advertisements and movie posters from the 1940s. In the corner near the hallway, a man with gray emphatically gesticulates to his friend as he explains his glory days with the band, while wagging his finger at a constellation of fading photographs. In the opposite corner, the woman who sits there with her black hair in a severe bun strolls into the kitchen. In the booth next to me is John Adams, another regular who must be at least seventy. He reads his newspaper and sips coffee even 10 p.m.; he tells me he is a former C.I.A. operative, and a great-great-great-great-great grandson of the John Adams. I happily chew my Chicken Parmigiana, covered with steaming hot marinara. On the way out, Baz shakes my hand and introduces me to Joe Madden. Everything is perfect.

  12. The best meal I've ever ate was during my first ever Cubs game when I was 6. I had a churro dog with a ton of chocolate icing and sprinkles on top. The churro was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
